How do I know if shower glass is genuinely tempered?
Genuine tempered glass has an etched stamp on one corner showing the manufacturer name, glass thickness, and safety standard. The stamp is permanent and cannot be removed. Always ask your installer to show you the stamp before they set the glass in place.

Use sanitary-grade fungicidal silicone sealant, not standard construction silicone. Clean seals monthly with diluted bleach or a commercial bathroom mold remover. If black mold is already present, the only permanent fix is to remove and replace the silicone entirely.
