Our Glass Installation Process — 5 Steps, Zero Shortcuts

You can purchase the thickest tempered glass and heaviest gauge frame, but if the installation is rushed, it will fail. We consider glass installation an engineering discipline.

Glass Installation Process

Why Cheap Installers Cause Leaks

Most window failures are caused by bad installers, not bad aluminum.

The Shortcut The Consequence The GlassInstallerPH Standard
Using wooden shims for leveling Wood rots when wet, causing the frame to sink and sliding doors to jam. High-density plastic shims that never rot and maintain perfect alignment indefinitely.
Cheap acrylic sealant Cracks and dries out within 1 year, leading to massive water intrusion. Premium structural silicone that remains elastic and UV-resistant for decades.
Eyeballing frame alignment Uneven gaps, scraping doors, and stress points on glass panels. Laser leveling on all 3 axes before drilling any masonry anchors.
Ignoring weep holes Water pools inside the track and overflows onto interior floors. Engineered drainage design tested with a high-pressure water hose before handover.

The Outcome of Precision

We do not take shortcuts to finish a job early. Here is what doing it right the first time accomplishes.

1

Zero Rattle

Because frames are perfectly plumb and anchored into concrete, they will not flex or shake violently when heavy winds hit.

2

100% Waterproof

Premium structural silicone creates a permanent, elastic seal that completely blocks horizontal rain.

3

Smooth Operation

Perfectly level tracks mean tandem rollers glide effortlessly. No jamming, dragging, or lifting required to close doors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our installation workflow.

How messy is the installation?

We fabricate frames off-site in our workshop to minimize mess. On-site work primarily involves drilling anchors and applying silicone. We always use drop cloths.

Do I need to be present?

Not strictly. If you are an OFW or working, authorize a representative. We provide regular, detailed photo and video updates showing progress.

How long does installation take?

A standard window replacement takes 1-2 days. Larger whole-house projects take longer. We provide a strict timeline after our laser audit.
